About Us

After personal experience in caring for their own family members, Ron Scasny and Joanne Bolz decided to make a difference in the in-home care industry by becoming owners of several Comfort Keepers franchises. Joanne’s experience with her parents opened her eyes to the need for quality in-home care for seniors. She has a passion for providing top quality customer service to clients and families who are looking for in-home care.

In addition, Joanne’s desire is to educate others in the community to prepare for home care services when the resource is needed. She comments, “Many times after family has visited with their loved ones, they recognize that they need more help to comfortably and safely stay in their own home.  The families are often unsure as to what resources are available to them when they are in this crisis mode.”

Our staff at Comfort Keepers is educated to guide the client or family to obtain the appropriate services that fit their needs so they can live safely and independently in the comfort of their own home.  Ron and Joanne are committed to employing caregivers who provide outstanding care and have a passion for making a difference in their client’s lives.

Comfort Keepers Mission

Our mission is to provide our clients with the highest level of quality of life that is achievable.  We shall treat each of our clients with the respect and dignity they deserve, as though we were caring for a member of our own family.

The special people who deliver our unique brand of in-home senior care (We call them Comfort Keepers®.) are carefully selected, screened, and trained to provide professional, compassionate care.

Our Philosophy

Interactive Caregiving™ is based on four primary pillars, which Comfort Keepers leverage to care for, engage, and interact with our clients:

  1. An active senior mind promotes independence, better mental and physical health, happiness, and a longer life.
  2. A physically active senior maintains strength and independence, lessening or delaying the effects of aging.
  3. A well-nourished senior is more energetic, both physically and mentally.
  4. A safe senior lives in an environment that reduces the likelihood of accidents and promotes timely response when illness or accidents occur.

With our Interactive Caregiving approach, we are able to raise seniors’ quality of life to a much higher level than typical in-home care providers.
